Asha device users in India can now experience the benefits of the Nokia Mail for Exchange app which has been made available by the company for people to be able to send and receive office emails on the go. Having announced the news via a press release, Nokia has revealed that the Editori text and sheet apps have also made their way to the country for the phones in question. All three apps are now available for download.
The email utility can be snapped up by all those who own Asha 311, Asha 310, Asha 309 and Asha 308 phones. Once installed, it is able to allow them to synchronize data related to their emails, calendars and contacts with Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010 Servers and Microsoft Office 365 Mobility Online Service.
Calling this release ‘yet another milestone’ for the Asha range, Viral Oza, who’s the director of marketing for the Finnish mobile giant’s operations in the country stressed that Nokia Mail for Exchange app has been aimed by them at granting consumers access to their work on the go. He also mentioned that the company’s brand is committed at enhancing everyday experiences for its users.
Apart from the said utility, Editori text and sheet apps have also been launched by in this part of the globe. The text tool allows users to view and edit word documents using features like bold, italic, colors and underline. Moreover, it also provides support for hyperlinks, pictures and tables.
The Editori sheet app on the other hand is a tool which provides the same above mentioned features for Excel files. It also proffers compatibility for the ‘xlsx’ file format.
Both the Editori text and sheet apps as well as the Mail for Exchange utility can now be downloaded free of cost by those who own the Asha devices we’ve mentioned in the space above.
