Amazon had previously launched Junglee.com in India which basically directs buyers to the seller’s website, while Amazon.in is the ecommerce giant’s own marketplace for India.</span></div>

Amazon also announced the launch of two new seller programs – ‘Selling on Amazon’ and ‘Fulfillment by Amazon’. The selling on Amazon will allow Indian retailers sell their products online on the site with no listing fees. The pay-as-you-go fulfillment service will allow sellers across India to send their products to Amazon’s fulfillment center located on the outskirts of Mumbai. Once an order is placed, Amazon packs and ships the order to the customer without the sellers having to do anything.</div>
