Google is also preparing to release a second version of an Android-powered media-streaming device, called Nexus Q, that was unveiled last year but not sold to the public, these people said.<br />

The Internet giant hopes to design and market the devices itself and release at least one of them this fall, they added.</div>

The two OSes can be toggled as desired via a simple hotkey, as reported by Engadget's Dana Wollman. Run Windows when you wish, and switch to Android when that makes more sense. </div>

Both the tablet and the laptop dock have batteries that work together to supposedly provide decent battery life.</div>

What impressed me so much with the U1 was the way the system automatically switched from Windows to Skylight when the tablet was removed from the dock. It wasn't just the quick switchover that was impressive, it was the fact that the two OSes inside the laptop were constantly communicating. This made it possible to pick up exactly where you were when one OS handed off control to the other. </div>

The Asus Transformer Book Trio looks to be a fantastic Windows 8 laptop that becomes an Android tablet on demand. This is certainly versatile, although Windows 8 is designed to handle both laptops and tablets so it's not clear what the advantages will be to have Android on demand. Maybe all those Android apps in the Play Store will be the plus needed to justify what will certainly be an expensive solution. We'll have to wait to see how well the Trio works until the 3rd quarter release date.</div>

We did not find any jitters during the normal usage and the even the casual gaming performance was great. Playing games like Temple Run 2, Angry Birds or even Dead Trigger is not an issue on the phone.</div>

Front camera works as desired and you will not have issues with video chat or occasional self-portraits.  It is important to note here that there are suddenly a lot of new budget Android smartphones popping in the country with 5MP or 3MP front camera, which I think are just too much and don’t really add any extra value to the device. They will probably make sense in the future when data speeds are great and capable of letting you chat with 5MP resolution video.</div>

Yes, despite the little quirks that I found as a part of my review, none of them is a real deal-breaker (although I wish that that plastic body was not so fingerprint-friendly). Each of the earlier mentioned issues might be problematic for some consumers but if you can live with them, Karbonn S5 Titanium is surely worth considering for your next budget phablet purchase.<br />

According to Woodside, one of these new devices will be the Moto X which will be built in a 500,000-square-foot facility – formerly owned by Nokia – located outside Fort Worth, Texas. This will be the first smartphone manufactured here in the States although the SoC will be shipped in from Taiwan and the OLED screens from Korea. He said 70-percent of the phone will be assembled locally in the Texas plant which currently employs around 2,000 local workers.</div>

Woodside assured the audience that Motorola will not access Google's Android code to get ahead of the competition. The search engine giant acquired Motorola Mobility just over a year ago, and one of the big fears stemming from Android partners has been that Motorola would take priority over all others. Motorola Mobility will remain a licensee of Android and Android will remain open, the company said, and Google will run Motorola Mobility as a separate business.</div>

Woodside, who claimed the phone was actually in his pocket but couldn't be shown on stage, said Moto X will be "loaded" with sensors that draw very little power and are tightly integrated into the phone. He offered some examples, saying that it will know when the user takes it out of a pocket, and will act differently when the user's car is traveling 60 miles per hour (for safer use).</div>

During GTC 2013 back in March, one of the big requests from developers was for more sensors. Of course, you can't simply cram more hardware into a smartphone or tablet without consequences. Form factors will always be locked in their strict power envelopes no matter how battery technology improves – go over that limit and devices get too hot to use. A four to five inch screen has a thermal envelope ranging between 2W and 4W whereas a ten inch tablet ranges between 6W to 10W (the screen itself takes between 1W and 2W).</div>

However Motorola's upcoming phone seems to address that need for additional sensors, but at what cost to other features? What kind of battery will Moto X need?
