ZTE is a Chinese firm today ZTE exposed six new Smartphone’s in the Indian and four data cards in India. The fourth largest mobile maker in the world, in partnership with Pune-based Calyx Communications, also launch the Doorstep service model in select cities of the country. Under this initiative, it will resolve issues with users' handsets at their homes.

"In the first year, we will just demonstrate the products and introduce new devices in India. Going ahead, we are sure that we will have a 20-25 per cent allotment of the smartphone segment in the next 3- 4 years, given the quality and features of our products,"
He said that the devices like six new smartphones and four data card at priced between Rs 5,000 and Rs 15,000. "There is a USD 350 million opportunity right now (smartphone and data card market), which is expected to grow to USD one billion in 3-4 years. We definitely want to tap this market,".
Apart from these mid-range smartphones, ZTE introduced two budget Android handsets withdual-sim functionality. ZTE Blade C has a 4-inch screen, 1GHz dual-core CPU, 512MB and costsRs 7,599. Below it is positioned the ZTEKis Flex, priced at Rs 5,799 and having features like 3.5-inch display, 1GHz processor and 256MB RAM.
In the first year, ZTE is looking at sales of one million Smartphone’s and 0.5 million data card devices in one of the fastest-growing cell phone markets in the world.
Research (CMR), more than 221 million handsets were shipped to India in 2012.
Talking about the company's sales channel and marketing strategy in India, Dejun said, "We are optimistic on our marketing and channel spends and looking at strengthening the brand from all fronts. Our distribution and sales structure is backed by a strong network of 214 service centers across the country. We are replicating the same pedigree of our global innovation leadership in the Indian market and aim to emerge as the third largest smartphone vendor in the country
